英语中用比较级句式能够表明最顶级的含意，比较常见的就是以下几个方式：
1、直接用比较级。
2、比较级 than the other 复数名词/ any other 单数名词/ any of the other 复数名词。
3、比较级 than anything/ anyone else。
4、在对比句式中应用 #34no#34,#34nobody#34,#34nothing#34 等词。
组成
单音节修饰词及部分双音节词（基本上都是以y、ly、er、ow、ble结尾的双音节修饰词），一般在词尾加-er。如tall—taller。
以英文字母e末尾的词，在词尾直接用-r。如nice—nicer。
以一个元音加一个辅音末尾的词，且元音发短音时，双写尾英文字母，加上er。如fat—fatter。

一、比较级
1.“比较级 and 比较级”或“more and more 原级(多音节或者部分双音节)”，译为“愈来愈……”
The weather in Wuhan is getting hotter and hotter.武汉的天气变得更加热。
Lee becomesmore and more beautiful.李越来越越来越漂亮。
2.“the 比较级，the 比较级”，译为“越…越…。”
The harder you are,the luckieryou are.越努力越幸运。
3.“the 比较级 of the two……”表明“…是二者中较…的”
Look at the two boys, my brother is the taller of the two.看这个两个男孩，我弟弟是非常高的那一个。
4.修饰词/介词比较级 than any other 单数名词( 介词短语)”表明“比同一区域范围任何一个人/物都……”，含义“最……”。

3.疑问词 助动词 主语 动词原形 be( the) 最高级别 甲，乙or丙？
Who do you think was the best act, A,B or C?你觉得谁是最好的演出者，A,B或是C？
4.“主语 形容词 one of the 形容词最高级 复数名词 in/of语句”表明“…是……里最……之一”。

5.序数词 最高级别

of与in的挑选
of:主语同后边的词是同一类人或物，后接复数名词(可省去)。
in:主语与后边的词是角色与场所的关联。
